EABP Publications

Bibliography: The EABP has an excellent bibliography with over 5000 entries. This is accessed by body psychotherapists and students throughout the world. We invite you to submit entries.

Books: We profile here books written by prominent body psychotherapists from several different body psychotherapy modalities in several different languages.

Resources: Reviews of publications in body psychotherapy and related fields are sent in regularly by Jacqueline A. Carleton, PHD and her students.

Articles: Here are a few of the more than 2000 articles on body psychotherapy with direct links to the articles. More articles can be found by searching in the bibliography.

International Body Psychotherapy Journal: International Body Psychotherapy Journal - The Art and Science of the Body in Psychotherapy. This online Journal in English, jointly sponsored by EABP and its sister body psychotherapy organisation USABP will come online in 2012. It will be available free to EABP and USABP members.

Videos: Somatic Perspectives on Psychotherapy - a series of video interviews. interviews by Serge Pringle. These videos have been edited and hosted by Serge Pringle for the USABP. In the future this will be a joint USABP and EABP publication. Herbert Grassmann, Chairman of the EABP Scientific Committee, will join Serge Pringle in producing these. They are planning a Trauma Series with audio interviews with Babette Rothschild, Eric Wolterstorff, Allan Shore, Steven Porges, and others.

Spanish videos: The Escuela de Terapia Reichiana (ESTER) has recorded recent conferences in Spain, which can now be viewed:

• The role of the father in ecological parenting
• Basic concepts of the sexuality from a post-Reichian perspective
• Particularities of body psychotherapy

The EABP publications committee oversees the creation of EABP literature. 

• The website is updated regularly
• An introduction book to EABP is available on request
• A FORUM book is also available

EABP’s eNews is an online Newsletter for EABP members is published on the site and emailed to members bi-monthly. Use your login code to access it directly from the website.

The EABP Newsletter has suspended paper publication for the moment but will look to publish again in the future.

Our sister organisation the United States Association for Body Psychotherapy has made the following publication available to EABP members:

• Somatic Psychotherapy Today – The USABP Magazine.
