Rolf Grønset

We heard the sad news that Rolf Grønset from Norway died last summer. He was one of the early followers of Reich and started his work with Ola Raknes in the early fifties. He started his own private practice about 1960. Therapy was always a main interest in his life and he was a steady writer, always in search of new ideas. In his later years, he was a regular participant at EABP Congresses and gave several lectures on his own practical and theoretical viewpoints. He called his method Existential Character Analytic Vegeto-therapy. He was of the opinion that the use of palpitation in therapy had taken too much space, while clients thoughts and experiences were given too little attention. He stopped using touch in his work.There have been many hot discussions, many warm smiles and lots of grateful clients.
