It is with great sadness we have received the news that Lennart Ollars died Monday September 27th peacefully at his home together with his family.
Erik Jarlnaes sent us this - "I and Lisbeth (Marcher) visited him Saturday at the hospital for a goodbye visit - and that was very good for all of us. We miss him. Lisbeth says: He, she and I were (in her mind) the founders of Bodynamic - basically because Lisbeth and Lennart all through 1970's did a workshop they called " Body, Identity and Interrelation" (which in hindsight covers how we look at our theory and practice today) - and in 1982 I took the initiative to form and officially get the institute on the map, with the name Bodynamic Institute."
Lennart taught us group process here in Canada at both the Analyst and Practitioner levels and we remember him for his kindness, sincerity and sharp insight. His journey with cancer and the joy he experienced with his 'no-holds barred living' since his illness was diagnosed were heart warming and inspirational. We have lost a very powerful teacher.
