Abstract

Nelson presents a case study of a 38-year-old woman who has spent much of her life pursuing various mystical interests including hypnotism, spiritualism, clairvoyance, conventional religions, Zen Buddhism, various occult schools, numerology, Tarot, Kaballah, supersensory powers, esoteric astrology, magical work, creative visualization, meditation, divination, sex magic, yoga, reincarnation, Theosophy, Hinduism, Rosicrucianism, Scientology, and parapsychology. The case study is then discussed by Barbara Goldenberg Koopman.
