Abstract

Surveys 149 former clients of Bioenergetics regarding their satisfaction with therapy and to retrospectively rate their functioning pre and post. Concludes that they were highly satisfied, and judged themselves to have made substantial positive changes in many areas of life. They judged the positive changes to have proven stable over long-term follow-up.

Comment: A strong survey. Like all such retrospective surveys, it is vulnerable to response bias and to distorted memory. Like all such surveys, it doesn't prove change occurred, but more expresses satisfaction. The author does not seem aware of that distinction.
